To make a long story short, we just figure some of you out there are as bored as we are.

Consider this a work in progress...

This blog is going to change the world. That is, once Shannon and I find the time to actually write a few articles and post a few images. I have files upon files of delightful advertisements with the likes of Ronald Reagan selling cigarettes, Lions in hairpieces, and risqué line drawings of panda bears. I've scoured the blogosphere to discover cupcake USB speakers and paper with both writing and grid lines!

In all honesty, I have fun doing this kind of thing. It's like when you secretly enjoyed researching the Battle of Gettysburg in 4th grade and overzealously created a makeshift diarama with a scrap of leftover green shag carpeting and a bag of plastic army men. I realize that was quite possibly just me, but you get the point.

As I find amazing or amazingly awful things I’ll post them here. As Shannon discovers even new ways to use cut paper and watercolor pencils in her everyday life, she’ll post those here too! Folks, what I’m telling you is that this blog will be an excellent place to waste a few minutes every couple of days looking at stuff you didn’t know existed and reading Shannon and I verbally dissect each other, design, and the planet as a whole. Because, you know, when you point out the flaws in other people you feel better about yourself. Try it sometime!

This amazing advertisement is dedicated to Shannon. The true Mouth of the South.
